Rama, Ontario - Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings and their band rolled into Casino Rama Monday evening for a charity show benefitting the "Radio for Radiology" Campaign. The event was held to raise money for the purchase of an Interventional Radiology Machine for the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Health Centre in Orillia. Opening the show was Canadian band, Lighthouse. Collingwood Ontario - Wakestock 2009 invaded Collingwood's Millenium Park on August 7 - 9, 2009. Hip-Hop/Rap band Classified plays late on Saturday afternoon. The crowd hoists this fan high on his wheelchair.

Meaford native, and Celebrity Team player Darren Pang, putts on the first hole at the 2009 Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic. Darren was a former goaltender for the Chicago Blackhawks and is now the colour analyst for the St. Louis Blues. This official stop on the Nationwide PGA Tour was played at the Raven at Lora Bay and The Georgian Bay Club.
